Each of us is a multi-dimensional person. We exist in many different "dimensions" at once. Though we appear to be focused only HERE, there are also many alternative forms of THERE in which we also function -- in bodies that are every bit as real as the one you see here.

The determination of what is "real" is a matter of perception rather than existence. Everything exists, but not everything is perceived. Our senses are not "windows" to an objective universe. They are really filters, blocking from the conscious mind what we have no desire to see.

OUT-THERE exists a limitless warehouse full of possibilities.  That is because "out there" we find ALL THAT IS.    But now, we are speaking about in here, where you are.  In here, there exists only you.......and you are the Creator of your own experience of what is "out there."

Every person is his (or her) own universe.  Uni=One.  He is the Creator of that uni-verse.   As a Creator, he is the interpreter of All That Is.  His perceptual mechanisms are the viewpoint through which all things are defined.  Like Adam in the Garden, all the "animals" are paraded past him. Whatever he chooses to call them is what they are to him.  Since each of us can only form our perceptual interpretations from our own basic essence and fabric of being----all of our Creations (our perceived sensory data) will be in our own image.

In truth:  "We don't view the world as it is.  Rather, we view the world as we are."  (Anais Nin)

Each of us is the Director of a vast and wonderful "movie" that is being run upon the screen of his awareness.  He gets to choose where the camera points its lens.  And, if he so chooses, he can block certain elements from his own awareness, while exaggerating and highlighting something else.

Everything is REAL, everywhere it appears.   In order for something to "appear," it has to be perceived.  When it is perceived, that Creator becomes the SOLE AUTHORITY that is required to establish its existence and its importance within the scheme of all beingness.

A universe is not something you exist within.  It is ALL OF YOU.   It is a Self-Portrait that is painted in continually expanding, repetitive patterns, that go out in every direction into infinity.   Even the God who "supports you and sustains you" is an aspect of you.   In order for his "support and sustainance" to reach you----it, too, has to pass through your perceptual "grid" and be interpreted.  That does not diminish his magnificence. However, it does increase yours.  It MERGES you with him---even as it simultaneously maintains your sense of distinction from him (within this universe).   In fact, you are his eyes and ears here, within the context of your experience.   Within other universes........you get to view things differently.  And it's all true-----because, really, there is only one of us here.

The storehouse of all these individuated "universes" is called The Multiverse.   It is a compilation point for every possible/probable viewpoint that ever was or ever will be.

The Multiverse is a vast archive that is like a Cosmic Video Store.  Each "Movie" that is created by each "Director" is stored there for all eternity. Once a person is able to extricate himself from his own immediate "production," he will discover that he is also able to access and enjoy many other productions that he has done (or is doing---depending on how one is choosing to measure time).

Every viewpoint has its correspondent variation.  If you ask three people their opinion, you are likely to get FIVE opinions.   Each of these "viewpoints" is a display rack that is freely available within the Cosmic Video Store.  Want to check one out?  Go ahead, your name is on file! Afraid you'll turn into stone if you admit there are other universes to watch?  That's okay, keep the card so you can use it another day.

Here, for example, is a movie of a house.  Here is that house in the rain. Here is another movie of that same house when it is empty.  Here is another movie of that house filled with children.  Here is yet another movie of that house occupied by a sweet little old woman.   Everyone of these houses is real.  Everyone of them stands, within its own context, as tangible and solid as any other.

It goes on and on and on.  ONE HOUSE----made manifest in every possible/probable way that it can be.  CINEMA MULTIPLEX.

In the Lobby of the Multiverse.......there are "snapshots" that are on display.  They are like trailers for coming attractions that will soon play at the theater.  Each of these snapshots is made up of a now-moment that was taken from several different "versions" of the same movie.  When this Multiversal Scrapbook is displayed in the lobby------each image is laid out

Do you want to change your movie into something else?  Go ahead, grab some snapshots.

In reality, each of these little pictures symbolizes an entire context of reality that is playing in one of the theaters.  If you wished, you could step into that theater and even jump up on the screen and become one of the actors.  After all, you're a Multiversal Being.   You've been in the "acting" business since the Industry began.  You've got EXPERIENCE, baby!!!!! <smile>

Go ahead, now----grab yourself some snapshots.

Take one from here, one from there, and even one from way over there..

Now, shuffle them.   Decide how you want the storyplot to unfold.  Do you want the butler to have done the murder?  Go ahead, put him at the back of the deck.

After you've arranged all of the possibilities into the SEQUENCE you want them to transpire----and arranged your deck in the exact order that suits you----begin flipping through the cards, like an animator might do with his cartoon drawings.

What you will produce there will be the Illusion of Continuity.   You will make things appear to occur in a set order, a sequence.   Do you not like the sequence?  Well, go ahead:  RE-SHUFFLE THE CARDS.

Your little "cartoon" will run as you decide it should.  After all, in the Multiverse---there exists all the necessary "stuff" that you would need to make anything happen...........It's like Multiversal CLIP ART, isn't it? Cut, paste, and POOF........you're in the biz.

We must remember that your "Director" Self always exists off camera.   That is because he must be able to look at each scene from all angles to decide which one is the best shot.

As an actor, within your Multiversal Drama----you may sometimes feel impotent and trapped within your script.  You may even petition the Director to have the writers come in and do some "touch-up" to the dialog or the actual progression of one of the scenes.  In the end, however.......... the Director gets to call the shots.

The harmonization of "pre-destination" versus "free will" is found now, within the Multiverse.  A glove has no power to move, except through the motion of the Hand that fills it.  However, both you and that hand are ONE and the SAME.  In the Multiverse, we focus upon our reality from different levels---limitless variations---on and on and on.
 

Multidimensional ME

What does it actually mean to be "Multidimensional?" Is it something strange and wonderful, or could it just be some rationalization someone is using to explain his or her latent schizophrenia? <smile> Well, I suspect it's probably a bit of both. But it's also surely a whole lot more.

The first discussions about Multidimensionality came through Seth, an entity who was channeled by Jane Roberts back in the 1970's. There were other references, I'm sure, but Seth was the one who took the whole topic of Multidimensionality mainstream. At the time, though, it seemed that humankind was ready to deal with the matter *only* in an intellectual way, and not very easily at that. Now, 20-some years later, we are on the brink of discovering exactly what Seth was talking about, and a whole lot more!
 

Discovering the Meaning of a "Dimension"

In its most basic form, a "dimension" refers to the measurement of a spacial relationship which exists, either within one object by itself or between two or more objects in space. It can either refer to the actual size and shape of an object, such as a man or a house---or to the location and arrangement of a number of objects or individuals that exist in relationship to it.

The former type of dimension is called a "measurement," while the latter type of spacial allocation is called a "configuration." Of course, there are many other terms that could also be used synonymously here. Though these terms might seem basic or tedious, I assure you they will take on greater meaning very quickly.

If I am standing in a room, surveying its contents, my PERSONAL VIEWPOINT becomes the foundational element or *plane* against which all of the other factors that exist within that room are compared. I am the surveyor of my reality, and what I say about that reality is what must be truth.

In the Biblical account of creation involving the Garden of Eden, we are told that at one point in time, the Lord God caused all of the animals to parade themselves before Adam so that he could name them. The Scripture says: "Whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof..."

In a spacial dimension, whatsoever the surveyor of any of the objects within a configuration says about them and their relationship to him (or to each other) becomes what is *true* for that dimension. It is that viewpoint which *establishes* that dimension through his own personal *belief* in the accuracy and veracity of his assessment of what is there. It could easily be said that a person's belief *is* the dimension in which he (or she) lives.

People who process reality from a vantage point that is alien to the Mass Consciousness intersecting with them are often said to be suffering from "dimensia." Actually, they are simply using different mental software than the generally accepted kind. In such a case, the term "schitzophrenia" may be just a rationalization which we have developed to deal with obvious evidence of Multidimensionality that crops up in our physical universe. More about that later. Back to our defining of "dimensions" in general.

If I am standing in a fixed position within a room, I might measure the physical distance (for example) that exists between myself and the T.V. Then, I may measure the distance between the T.V. and the coffee table. Finally, I may count to myself how many steps it would take if I walked from where I currently am, then over to the T.V., and then turned from there and walked to the window. In all that I do and all that I calculate, I am the *authority* for the entire dimensional layout. I am, that is, until someone appears on the scene to contradict me.

Let's suppose, hypothetically, that YOU now come into the room and stand at the other end of it facing me. I say to you that the T.V. is five feet away. Am I right? Well, yes I am. However, you shake your head in wonder. You count the distance carefully and decide that the T.V. is surely much more like *ten feet* away! Then, you listen to my figures about the table, look over at the window, and you shake your head again in disbelief.

What is happening between us is a *crisis* in the delineation of *authority* concerning whose dimensional measurement is the one which establishes that dimension. As ridiculous and petty as this conflict might appear to us when it is laid out in this manner, the essential nature of the dispute does not change when the dimensions are measuring different things (like spiritual beliefs). It merely becomes more complicated, and therefore more obscured.
 

The Many Facets of Multidimensionality

It was channeled once, quite clearly, that a dimension is like a jewel with many facets. Each facet is like a *window* that looks into the core essence of that dimension. Each window is a *vantage point* from which that same one essence can be seen.

In our original survey of this legendary room, we were measuring physical distances between the objects that exist there. However, having completed that survey, we could begin a new one based on how the *colors* of all the objects in the room harmonize (or clash) with the *colors of the clothes* one of us is wearing. This dimensional comparison gives our survey a whole new agenda.

A dimension, then, is established through the will of the surveyor (or the observer) and becomes *trued* (declared to be true) basically because he or she says so. That "truth" continues to dominate until someone else comes along to dispute it. And even then, their dispute may be *denied,* allowing the original dimension to simply remain the predominant truth forever.

Or does it? That all depends. It depends upon through *whose viewpoint* the whole situation is seen from that point on. If I hold a truth to be unshakable, but you flat-out deny that it even means anything, what happens to that object of dispute? Good question. I would submit to you that what happens to the object at that juncture is: it SPLITS. It fragments into however many variations required to validate the viewpoints of the surveyors who have cared to name it.

To be a DIMENSIONAL PERSON is to believe in a set of tangible "facts" about the existence and nature of a certain configuration of energy. In a single context, the predominant authority calls the shots. There are ONE-dimensional people who cannot see or hear anything other than the counsel of their own hearts concerning any issue that comes before them. The box they exist in can be rather small.

TWO-dimensional people usually listen to their own counsel but *occasionally* might surrender that power to someone else *providing* that their "other" meets with the approval of their personal list of qualifications. At that point, the two become PARTNERS, as they *agree to agree* concerning what exists and what does not. This process expands the reality box quite a bit.

And then, in our world of today, there are THREE-dimensional people who might allow for a *harmonization* of facts that are made up of any two differing viewpoints, thereby drawing both of those viewpoints into a point of CONVERGENCE. In such a situation, the hybrid offspring of the two becomes a TRIANGULATE for the other two. That point of being sufficiently captures the essence of what both of them are trying to contribute and embodies that mixture for all to see and appreciate. Now expansion becomes the rule rather than the exception.

The Beginning of the Beguine

The first level of Multidimensionality is discovered when a person begins to interface with his (or her) "other" within a unit of tangible space. We call it the beguine-ing .... <smile> .....because that term refers to a kind of "dance." That is what Multidimensionality is, a dance. One partner leads, and the other partner follows. Then the second partner leads, and the first person follows. Finally, a Dance Instructor joins in, and both the partners learn a new step.

"When a man loves a woman......" (as the song beautifully says!)...

.....he has gone from a one-dimensional existence into a two-dimensional one. Isn't that an interesting way to put it? "A two-dimensional ONE." In truth, that man is now, always was, and ever shall be......SINGULAR within his reality. The only reason he even entertains the idea of another person is because he chooses to. And that choice is always HIS, and his alone. And isn't *that* an interesting way to put it? Alone. All One. The former is a contraction, the latter is an expansion. The first is inward and fearful, the latter spreads out and enjoys the SEEN-ery.

The Dance, therefore, is a pretend journey into a world of FRAGMENTATION. It takes the original ONE and divides him into TWO. The music starts, the lights go down, and Fred and Ginger start to twirl across the floor.
 

A Dance Party, By Invitation Only

When any two viewpoints agree to agree about what is real and what isn't, they are said to exist *within the same dimension.* When this happens, their realities become *conjunct.*

Those of you who watched Fox's series, "The Visitor," on Friday nights, will probably recall a very distinctive scene in one of their shows. It was the scene where a sighted man, Adam McArthur, put both of his hands on the head of a blind woman and projected his sightedness into her. Even though she had been sightless for 30 years, she suddenly was able to see his face very clearly. Then her eyes went dim again. When questioned about the amazing thing that had just happened, Adam said to her: "I just made my eyes your eyes."

This whole illustration became a "dream within the dream" for all of us who watched. If you are currently reading my series called "Dreams of the Mass Mind," you will follow exactly what I mean by this. When realities become conjunct for two (or more) individuals surveying a scene......in other words, when all people involved agree- to-agree about what is there....there is a functional *blindness* that occurs in the eyes of all but *one* of the many viewpoints there. In short, that one person makes *his* eyes into *their* eyes too.
 

Opening Our Closed Eyes

There was a very memorable scene included in the summer blockbuster movie called "Men in Black." Tommy Lee Jones was sitting on a park bench filling Will Smith in on the *real* facts of life on planet Earth. As he was doing this, he was making some statements about the evolution of the idea of what was commonly accepted as *truth* over time and history.

In this ultra-fun movie, Mr. Jones said to Mr. Smith:  "Several hundred years ago, every *knew* that the world was flat. Only a few hundred years ago, everyone *knew* that it was impossible for man to fly. Yesterday, you *knew* that humanity was *alone* on Planet Earth. Can you imagine what we're all going to KNOW tomorrow????"

To become Multidimensional is to OPEN to new levels of KNOWING.

It is free ourselves from the BONDAGE of set ideas concerning what is real and what is not. That doesn't mean we don't have any set ideas about what is real. It simply means that we cease to be in *bondage* to those beliefs.

It is no wonder that Nostradamus prophesied that the end of the world was coming. From the limited viewpoint in which he channeled, it only made sense. He lived in a time when men *agreed to agree to be blind* about certain things. How could he translate images about a future wherein all of the people at the party opened their eyes and began to see at once? To him, that meant only one thing: destruction of the physical dimension in which we exist.

Happily, however, humankind does not have to purchase a lot of earthquake insurance yet. Our degree of conscious expansion has paved the way for lots and lots of transformation in the area of defining what is reality and harmonizing those beliefs with each other. We are open-ended now, and if we choose to do so, we get to come out of the narrow "boxes" that once held us so tightly in our limitation.

We are truly a Universal Oneself. It is this realization that binds together all that we see and keeps us from doing what Nostradamus felt we had to do!  A person is not one of many. He is really many of One. To exist within a universe (uni=one), we subscribe to a single "story" about how things work and what they mean to us. We accept upon ourselves the yoke of *congruence* which takes a single computer and attaches it to a defined database or network. At that point, a personal statement that tentatively declares "I could be" becomes the all-powerful statement of "I am."

Sometimes, however, our inner interest in diversity cries out to be satisfied as well. And for this reason, the Multiverse (a gathering place for all of the many dimensions or universes) becomes our new playground and our joy. Let it be so for us as we begin this sharing.

Simultaneous Parallel Existence

Just about the time when much of humankind has managed to entertain, with some degree of comfort, the concept of Reincarnation---along comes our own personal Counsel of Reconnections to offer a more expanded, and somewhat more intimidating, form of that same idea.

One of Spirit's first messages to me, and the stimulus for much growth and personal examination, was the simple phrase "You are more than you think you are." In contrast, the basic premise of Reincarnation has always been "You were more than you thought you *were.*"

It only makes sense that Spirit would choose to introduce these new ideas to the Mass Mind in an incremental fashion, gradually acclimating us to the Greater Presence that exists just beyond the Veil of Forgetfulness which surrounds our conscious mind. In this way, there can be a gentle awakening of the higher senses, and an avoidance of trauma such as was experienced in Atlantis or Lemuria as they attempted to integrate higher knowledge too soon and without adequate inner preparation.

Multidimensionality is real, and it is happening *now.* Knowing about it does not make it happen, and not knowing about it does not prevent it from continuing upon its infinite course of exploration.

Pandora's Box. 'Twas originally a gift of wonders, but it was also believed to have unleashed chaos and eventual destruction to those who dared to open it and look inside. Dare we to look inside ourselves?

The Veil of Forgetfulness is a semi-permeable membrane which surrounds the consciousness of a single Soul Fragment, lest he (or she) should remember his connections to All That Is, and lose his focus within the context of reality that he has chosen to visit.

We are our OWN form of Pandora's Box. Our limited concepts of who we are and why we exist are our shelter, our comfort from the torrent of feelings we might experience if we opened fully to see what is there inside.

An Individual Soul Fragment is a specific replication of a single idea that is exploring its many ramifications within the spectrum of possible/probable beingness. It is a piece of a greater puzzle that also carries a whole personal saga within the jagged edges of its form. Fit together within a larger picture, the piece does not lose this original significance. Rather, it gains additional significance because of its role within the bigger picture.

One possibility which is explored in physical form becomes a stone that is dropped into the waters of All That Is. Each possible variation of that same idea goes out like a ripple from the original expression. Each ripple becomes a universe unto itself, though it also bears meaning within a larger picture as well!

Knowledge is like fine wine. Are we ready to stop drinking from the Ripple, and start tasting of the wine of an even Higher Self?

The Multiverse could be seen in many ways. In your computer jargon, it could be seen as an Infinite Spreadsheet, exploring all the possible/probable manifestations of what has been, what is, and what could ever be. Each "cell" of the Spreadsheet is a universe unto itself, complete and whole. Locked inside its "cell," it is happily oblivious to all the similar "cell-ves" that co-exist just beyond the Veil.

The Imagination is a buffer zone that separates the physical/emotional self from his or her mental/spiritual connections with the rest of All That Is. If one is not ready to explore the endless possibilities, he will surround himself with cynicism, and claim "It is all *just* in my imagination." This will insulate him from the knowing. Then, when you are ready to journey further, he will change his statement to something like: "It is right here, *just beyond* (and through) my Imagination." At that moment, a door will open to him and he will begin to believe.

Physical Reality is a crystalization of focus that is achieved from within a single viewpoint. The density of any manifestation is contingent upon how solidifed or explicit that idea must become before the observer is willing to believe in it.

There are no ideas or manifestations that are inherently "dense" or which are inherently "celestial." All ideas, concepts, essences, and fragments of beingness are emanated from the same energy that binds together the Center of All That Is. However, each observer (traveler in time and space) varies the vibrational frequency of any idea to the degree that he (or she) desires to examine or experience it.

HERE is often experienced as solidified matter. THERE is often held to be etheric and remote. However, when HERE eventually becomes THERE, the density seems to change. The memory of HERE becomes the snapshot of THERE and the solidification factor reverses. Or does it? Is it real or is it Memorex?????

In truth, My Dear Friends, it is BOTH.
 

In truth, both HERE and THERE exist simultaneously. Time is illusion, an initiation of the conscious mind to place a single particle of Is-ness upon a slide and place it under the microscope of the NOW.

What appears as a "ghost" to us in one physical context, is also a fully solidified physical person who is living within another dimension. Just as "ghosts" appear upon a television screen, they also appear within perceptual reality as well! However, each "program" continues irregardless of what the audience experiences. Everything IS, because Oneness IS.

By installing a "there" and a "then" to our Now, we give it form and texture. The elements of past and future become the frame around the portrait of the Now which we are painting. If we like, we could change the frame and thus alter the picture. Such an action would not make it any more or any less "real." It would simply add a new dimension to our experience of that idea.

THE PRESENT IS NOT THE PRODUCT OF THE PAST! Rather, the past is ordained to be real and made meaningful within each present moment that examines it.

Every NOW is created, 100% in the NOW. The illusion of continuity is a magician's trick! Go ahead, allow yourself to be fooled by it! Have a wonderful time! But then, when the show is over, feel free to set aside your props. At such a time, there is nothing left to do but come HOME........and return to the Oneness of All That Is.
