I picked up this book at an airport book shop to read on the plane. Within the first chapter, I fell under an enchantment. It wasn't just the story itself, which drew me in, but the amazing ability of the author to weave her words with such wizardry! That's not the only reason I'm suggesting this book as a Conscious Creation title though. This story is about the mixing of two worlds, and does a marvelous job of creating a more physical "rational" world and making it distinct in feel from the more "magical" world. It's not just that people from one realm get lost in the other, it's that each realm, and the people in them, are, for lack of a better word, psychologically wedded to their worlds and must adapt in the foreign worlds to survive. Rather reminded me of how we've tended to dismiss our intuitive selves in favor of rational thinking, as well as just being a GREAT read. <grin>
